Important information

• The test does not replace medical examination - it only complements it.
• Wait two weeks after chemotherapy or radiotherapy, and six weeks after prostate‑related surgery before sampling.
• The test is not reliable after surgical removal of the prostate or while a urinary catheter is in place; therefore, performing the test in such situations is not recommended.
• Always discuss your results with your physician.
• The result reflects only the biological state at the time of sampling.
• The test alone is not suitable for excluding prostate cancer or for making a definitive diagnosis, which always requires a comprehensive specialist examination. However, in the case of a positive result, the likelihood of the tumor being present is above 90%.
• The test is validated exclusively for urine samples from adult males.
• The PC-Alarm test result is not uploaded to the National eHealth Infrastructure (EESZT), as the test is not considered a medical service and serves solely as a preliminary screening and informational tool. Only you will have access to the test result.
